What a super cute idea!! Found these via Tip Junkie.  These fun octopus brownie bites were the creative genius of The Seven Year Cottage.  She provides a super simple Under the Sea Brownie Bites.

Sand crabs anyone?  I feel like I have to have an under the sea party soon.  These are so awesome! Another great tutorial!

{Party Food I Love} Piggie Macarron by Raspberri Cupcakes

Okay you know I love macarrons, but come on!  How stinkin’ cute are these little piggy macarrons.  I haven’t seen anything like these.  LOVE IT.  I spied these on Tip Junkie and they are from Raspberri Cupcakes.

There is even a Piggie Macarron tutorial.  Must try!!  Check it out!

Did you see these cute food labels? Labels are one more element that can add punch and tie in your theme. I am not graphic designer, so if I can do this anyone can. I created these in a few minutes using the Bright Colors paper pack. Here’s how I did it: opened the file, right clicked on it, copied and pasted into a word doc. Then I resized it, added a rectangular shape with rounded edges and added text.

Let’s talk treats!

When I do a dessert table, I try to mix in really simple stuff with items that take a bit more work. These are an example of simple items that are simple (less than 1 minute simple)! I purchased some Twinkies and jumbo sized soft Oreos and just added a lollipop stick. Super easy!

These were so simple, but perfect for a lot of different parties. These Strawberry Shortcake on Stick were served with whip cream.

Premade cookies dough, lollipop stick and 12 minutes in the oven. Done and yum!!

I had been dying to try the new pie on a stick trend, so what could be a better opportunity than everything on a stick party. These little pies were awesome and pretty simple to make and only 2 ingredients: pre-made pie crust and cherry pie filling.

Now these were just plain fun! Pop Tarts on a stick! Come on…right?

along the lines of just plain fun, these S’mores on a Stick were messy, but so worth the fuss.

I have a heard time having a party without Cake Pops! This party was no exception. Cake on a stick anyone? Yes, please.

Non-food fun on a stick? Yeppers! Didn’t these mustaches turn out so cute? They were a huge hit and like most things I do, super simple! I used the Mustache Mania set them. I simply chose 2 that mustache styles that I liked, copied them into a word document and printed them on white cardstock. Next, I cut them out, taped them to a lollipop stick and placed them in a Mason Jar.

What a cute couple!! What State Fair Party would be complete without beer on a stick? Right? (I think the mustache is a good look for our hostesss!! Do you agree?)

Of course, we needed the birthday boy on a stick.

Okay…that’s a long title, but this party deserves it!  Do you have things that you are a little obsessed about?  I have a few…Big Brother (I know) and the State Fair.  So when my friend asked if I could help here with a State Fair Themed party I was ecstatic!  How much fun is a State Fair theme with a big promise – EVERYTHING ON A STICK!

So it began…our mission to plan for everything on a stick.

Who says everything on a stick has to be bad for you?  How beautiful do these look?  Salad on a stick, fruit kabobs and caprese ona stick.  While I really love all that bad-for-you food, I do like to mix in some healthy options at my parties.

So, that’s enough healthy stuff…let’s get to unhealthy options.  Corn & porkchops are a state fair staple in our neck of the woods.  These pork chops were really good.  Hot off the grill!  Do you see those yummy morsels in the bottom corner?  If you are not from the midwest, you may not know and that makes me very sad for you!  The party hostess is a Wisconsin native and we live very close to the border, so those amaizng bite sized treats are fresh cheese curds.  These little guys are no joke…SO YUMMY!!!
